Japan Exhibition Framing Details
Prints for the Japan exhibition were framed by a local framer in Tokyo. Details about the framing are hazy but the frames are undeniably beautiful. They are constructed with plex and a blonde wood that has been white-washed so the wood grain shows through. This is the framing I requested and always prefer. The frame comes up to the image area. These frames were constructed with the ability to remove the print if necessary and are not bonded to a stiffener. The clear plex used is presumed to be UV protective but that is not absolutely certain. The plex can easily be replaced by your framer with an archival quality museum glass or UV plex. The frames are well-constructed and most come with their own cloth bag and box.
What is a limited edition print?
A limited edition print guarantees there is only a fixed number of artworks available within the worldwide art market. Each limited edition print is hand-signed and numbered, certifying authenticity and adding value to each original photograph.
