Wharton Esherick’s Dining Room
It is said that if you look at the floor of Wharton Esherick’s dining room (pictured in this print), you will see a reclining figure. The floor was made from his friend’s scrap wood and offcuts. His friend saw what Esherick created with his scrap and got understandably discouraged.
